Two Pink Calla Lilies who take their name from the Greek Word "calla" meaning beautiful. Pink ones signify romance, love and appreciation and I deliberately painted them against a black background so that nothing could detract from their natural beauty. This painting is now on show at The White Square Gallery, Plaza Blanca, Sotogrande, as part of the new “Flora & Fauna” Exhibition and together with its companion piece of “Open Tulips” these works bring a touch of sophistication and tranquility to any space.
