Painted for the series Circle of Life - Animals of Zodiac. In this series I painted animals representing each year. This is the "Year of Dog". I chose wilder version of each animal. For Dog, I came across these Dhol dogs from Australia. They are wild, not domesticated and are known for their strategy and siblings support. They are often photographed in open areas, sitting in sun, and often playing like their domestic counterparts. I loved painting them especially their fur that lit up against light.
