Enjoy painting and drawing in the great outdoors! The Southern Oregon Guild invites you to experience artmaking at award winning Bridgeview Winery in Cave Junction, OR with local landscape artist, Silvia Trujillo on Saturday September 17 from 10am-5pm.

Class fee is $100 and includes a drink ticket that may be redeemed for a glass of wine of your choice. Bridgeview Vineyard & Winery specializes in German varietals such as Riesling, and currently has a gold medal award winning Oregon Pinot Noir that has received a 89 point rating with Wine Spectator and is a great value! Wines will be available for tasting and purchase throughout the workshop. Please bring a water bottle and packed lunch.

Plein air painting in Southern Oregon amongst the alpacas! This lovely ranch offers wonderful views of Mt McLaughlin, countryside fields, magnificent oak trees, and the sweetest alpacas. You will be treated to a "day on the ranch", while painting and drawing from live subjects. All skill levels and media are welcome. Plenty of individual instruction gives you the confidence and know how for creating art on location, plus you will come home with a completed painting or two!

I specialize in providing one-on-one instruction - from choosing and composing a subject to the final details, I will help you come away with successful studies and completed paintings. You will learn new skills, and all the tools for plein air painting on location.

I'll be in lovely Cannon Beach; the famous Haystack Rock, Ecola State Park, hydrangeas, coastal flowers, dunes, river, restaurants, and galleries galore all make this place the perfect spot for doing art on location! It's called the "Carmel" of Oregon. I'll be there for two months, and able to accommodate your schedule /location anywhere within a 2 hour radius of Cannon Beach. Let me help you with the painting or sketching medium of your choice. Materials available for an extra fee. $30 a hour or $100/ 4 hour session.. Contact me directly, and let's set something up!
