Yesterday, the water color society group was doing a plein air event IVO Mission Gorge | Santee, CA. Total blast, and totally free. I chose to focus on the cluster of oak trees because the reflected light was easy to make a focal point. You get 2.5 hours to paint, and then you have to brief your work.
