I had just finished painting this still life from above when I bent down to the floor to grab something and then looked up - the same still life looked so cool from straight on too. If the previous painting was inspired by color, this one was more inspired by the shapes. Does anyone else like to study the same subject in multiple paintings before moving on? *frame not included.
