Colors are the main thing that inspires me to do a painting. In this one, I love the warm hues against the cooler colors of the water. Last month we were watching the salmon run upriver in Olympia. There was a very happy blue heron standing in the water at the entrance to the fish ladder. It was getting so much fish! Thanks to Unsplash for the reference photo!
