In creating this piece, I sought to capture the essence of a serene Venetian moment, blending realism with impressionistic brushstrokes and expressionistic color play. I used both acrylic and oil to layer and texture the canvas, allowing the interplay of light and shadow to evoke a sense of peacefulness and nostalgia. The tranquil waters and subtle interactions between the gondola and its environment invite contemplation and a breath of soothing, artistic energy into any room it graces.
