I lived in Boston for many years and never stopped loving it. Now that the winter is approaching, I started searching in my sketchbook for anything interesting and ran into a sketch that I did last year in Boston while visiting with my younger daughter. I decided to recreate my love and experience of Boston Commons. I used to skate there too... The painting has lots of texture and is full of love and light...
