This is inspired by our local wetland, Elkhorn Slough, on the central coast of California along the beautiful Monterey Bay. These waters are abundant with birds and marine life. Otters and their babies can often be seen floating along on their backs. Pelicans and other seabirds make their home here. How lucky I am to live here! Archival quality sanded pastel paper, ships unframed , mounted on backing board and protected in a clear plastic envelope.
