Someone brought a hat today, when he put it on he decided he looked good in the hat.I started this 3 hour sketch with a very loose gesture drawing using paynes grey, covering all the shadow areas. It made for a quick map to show where the light and dark areas were. All this was done in the first 15 minutes. That left the rest of the time to play with color/value.
