We opened the front door one morning to take our grandson to school and there it was! Very friendly and non threatened. The neighbor had it's mate in their yard with a broken wing so they took it to a wildlife refuge. I loved the experience since I had lost my husband this year and saw the dove as comforting and special! I took lots of photos then painted her...or he! There are always things to be thankful for!
