Beautiful Fragments is a painting about Alzheimer's and dementia. It was inspired by my mom who recently passed away from Alzheimer's disease. The message is to find beauty in the moments shared with one who suffers from Alzheimer's or dementia even though their mind and world have become fragmented. These are things of beauty enjoyed even when broken, just like the memories and shared moments of a loved one.
