These red blossoms are full bloom at the end of a warm summer day ...with about 4 hours of daylight to work I tried to capture this vibrant red. Using transparent red med, permanent rose, magenta and about every color of yellow on my palette, it's hard to capture the velvet beauty of a rose petal.
