I am an oil painter from Pennsylvania. I haven't decided whether I am a
realist or an impressionist; the degree of realism is different with
each painting. My mother taught me how to paint after I graduated from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2001 with an interior design
degree.
I paint mostly interiors, cityscapes, animals and some landscapes. Many
of my paintings are inspired by my travels to the eastern United States,
Canada and Europe. I represent fleeting moments, usually with high
contrast lighting that depicts the time of day, and therefore the
passage of time. With my paintings, my goal is to remind people of the
good things in a world that can be chaotic.
