My art education has been self-directed studying with some of the best in the medium of oil, pastel and colored pencil.

I began my oil painting journey with Debra Joy Groesser, plein air painter and president of the American Impressionist Society.

From 2009 to 2011 I studied under Deborah Bays, master pastelist in atmospheric realism.

In 2015 I attended a workshop with Debora L. Stewart who opened the world of abstract (pure and combined with realistic elements) for me.

In 2019 I discovered collage and mixed media which has been a joy to explore.

 

I currently reside in Green Valley, sunny Arizona and am a member of the Santa Rita Art League of GVR.
