Size: 12x12 in
This is another "poured watercolor" painting from a series of "poured watercolor" paintings that I did a few months ago! Poured watercolor is a strategy of using liquid mask and watercolor paint and masking the values light to dark and at the same time pouring the very liquid watercolor on the masked watercolor paper. I love the process! The shells are from a local beach/island (Emerald Isle, NC) and they are some of my favorite subject matter! This painting is mounted on a 12X12 panel and sealed with Dorland's wax which enables the painting to be framed without the need for glass. Thanks for taking a look!
