Judge's Pick winner of the May 2015 DPW Monthly Contest, 2nd Place winner at Art In Your Eye, and Special Merit Award from the DuPage Art League and also a Dick Blick Award, these super-sized orange slices, peel and all were so much fun to paint! I punched up the color and focused on complimentary colors and expressive pastel marks.
