The Third Place winner of the December 2020 DPW Monthly Contest! Painted from a reference photo taken on New Year's Day of 2020 during an unseasonably warm walk through our local forest preserve. I was immediatley drawn to the bright sunlight directly adjacent to the cool blue shadows of the snow. Piece is 12 x 16 inches.
