It was a joy painting with friends along this quiet country road tucked into Mount Diablo's foothills in Northern California. Gnarly old almond trees were alive with blossoms and the hills were glowing green. Plein air heaven! Happy to share that "Contra Costa Spring" has been selected as a Judge's Pick in the Daily Paintworks Monthly Contest, February 2024. Many thanks to juror Pamela Robins!
