Third place award winner in Dakota Pastel's Soft Pastel Competition-Winter Quarter 2020, Artist-judge Liz Haywood-Sullivan said about this piece "This colorful still life captures the tumble of strawberries in a beautifully rendered and dynamic composition. Great use of tight focus falling away to less detailed strokes in the distance. A delicious use of color complements. Well done!". Also Judge's Pick winner in DPW's Monthy Contest in May 2019. "Berrylicious" is an original pastel painting. It measures 8 x 8 inches on archival sanded pastel paper. I've decided to keep this piece for my personal collection.
