This painting I painted using Canson Aquarelle watercolor board. I worked in thin layers, building up the image. The Mourning Dove was perched on the maple branches in the late afternoon, very peaceful. Enjoying the winter day. Serene Mourning Dove made the finals in the Richeson 75 International Art Competition for Animals, Birds, and Wildlife for 2016.
Won The 5 Painters art award.
