Crabs are fascinating creatures. It’s often hard to tell if they’re coming or going. They can have a dizzying array of colors from pale yellows and browns through vivid blues, greens and reds across their shell and claws. They always seem to be in a hurry and scurry about seemingly oblivious to the rest of the world. As a kid we’d go crabbing with a chicken neck tied to a length of string. I’ve never really cared to eat them, just enjoy watching them go about their business on the sand. Here’s one spied recently along the Gulf Coast. “Feeling Salty” is a 12” X 12” oil painting on 1 1/2” deep gallery wrapped canvas. It will be well packed for shipping and arrive wired and ready to hang. Crabs are fascinating creatures. It’s often hard to tell if they’re coming or going.
