I think I enjoy painting birds more than anything else! It takes me longer to prepare the cradled panel than it does to paint it when it is so small. I keyhole the backs, oil the backs, oil the fronts, and then finally gesso the fronts.....paint....and varnish. It is about the process! ;-) - on hold for July Midnight Sun Brewing show - Judge's Pick March 2021 DPW Monthly Contest!
