Judge's Pick winner of the August 2022 DPW Monthly Contest The reason I was away for a while has to do with the fact that my vision was getting worse and I decided to have a lens replacement done in my eyes last Monday. I'm recovering from that surgery but it's not going fast enough for me, unfortunately. I can see in the distance again without difficulty, but everything within a meter or two I still see a bit out of focus. The lenses are multifocal and I should be able to see fine again at all distances. I went back yesterday for an extensive check up but everything is fine and I just need to be patient. Let's hope the doctor is right and the near vision returns. I think I should take it easy but that's not doable for a paint-a-holic.
