I'm thrilled to share my latest artwork, titled "Dunescape." This award-winning piece, measuring 6"H x 12"W and created with oil on cradled board, is an abstract interpretation of a natural dune scene. Through broad, expressive brushstrokes, I've aimed to capture the dynamic and shifting terrain of a sandy landscape. The earthy tones in the foreground mix seamlessly with the darker shades of dune grasses and old fencing in the middle ground. The vivid sky in the background adds a sense of movement and atmosphere, evoking the vastness and natural beauty of the seaside. This artwork was inspired by my deep connection to coastal environments and the ever-changing interplay of light and textures found there. Creating "Dunescape" involved both brush and knife techniques that allowed me to bring out the contrasting elements and rich textures
