I've painted the old Bolivar Lighthouse many times from different points of view and different times of day. This is the largest so far. Just when I think I've purged the image from my mind it creeps back in and a flood of childhood memories wash over me. Somehow I seem tied to this old beacon. Maybe it's time I paint it again.
