This sail boat, the Seventh Heaven, has sailed around the world! I of course didn't find this out until after finishing the painting. But what a fun fact to learn. This was my favorite plein air painting that I did during the Solomon's Island Plein Air Festival. I really enjoyed the dry docked boats and it was fun getting this angle. I really enjoyed painting at the Marinas because there was so much activity going on all of the time!
