I've been busy with other work for a while (including some commissions), so it's fantastic to get back to DailyPaintWorks! I was intrigued by the light and shadow in this kitty portrait and wanted to see if I could capture the values correctly (the bright band of light over the side of the cat's face, compared to the rest of the detail of the cat). So much fun and quite a challenge!

I tried to capture the colors correctly with my cell phone camera, but every computer display, tablet, and phone display shows the color a little differently.

I sometimes limit my trips to the Post Office to a few times a week, so there may be a slight delay in shipping sold paintings out.
