Daily Paintworks's Judge's Pick winner of the January 2021 DPW Monthly Contest! This scene is from my husband's family property in Northerm Michigan. I was drawn to the backlit trees and the various shades of blue in both the sky and the snow. This is piece is 16 x 12, pastels on archival paper.
