A little story...my husband and I had our first date birdwatching...a little nerdy! We married continued to watch birds together. Babies came and names were picked. Our daughter is named after this cutie bird, a black phoebe, who will follow you along the path eating all the bugs you stir up as you walk! Well my darling girl doesn't eat bugs but she has been by my side all her life and continues to love me daily from a distance while she pursues her education at UC Berkeley...For Phoebe is dedicated to her.
